(This recipe will serve 6 servings. You can multiply the mesurements as per your requirement.)


🌴 Ingredients :

• 3 drumstick, chopped
• 3 tbsp masoor dal
• 1 tomato, chopped
• ½ onion, chopped
• 2 cloves garlic
• 2 chilli
• 1 inch cinnamon
• ½ tsp cloves
• 1 tsp pepper
• 1 tsp coriander seeds
• 1 tsp cumin
• 1 tsp salt
• 3 cup water
• ½ tsp kala namak
• 2 tbsp coriander
• 2 tbsp mint

🌴 Instructions with step-by-step photos : 

(1) Firstly, in a cooker, add 3 drumsticks and 3 tablespoons of masoor dal.

(2) Also, add 1 tomato, ½ onion, 2 cloves of garlic, and 2 chillies.


(3) Add 1 inch cinnamon, ½ tsp cloves, 1 tsp pepper, 1 tsp coriander seeds, 1 tsp cumin and 1 tsp salt.


(4) Pour 3 cups of water, and pressure cook for 5 whistles.

(5) Drain off and transfer the drumstick to the mixer jar.

(6) Add water and grind to extract the pulp.


(7) Filter out, extracting the pulp easily.


(8) Now, add the drumstick pulp water to the kadai.

(9) Add water and adjust the consistency. Also, add ½ tsp kala namak and bring to a boil.


(10) Now, in a mixer jar, add 2 tbsp of coriander and 2 tbsp of mint. Grind to a smooth paste.


(11) Transfer the coriander mint paste to the soup and mix well.

(12) Do not over-boil as it will lose its flavour.


(13) Finally, enjoy the Drumstick Soup Recipe piping hot.

• Firstly, you can use fresh or frozen drumsticks to make the soup. Fresh ones give extra flavour.

• Additionally, adding tomatoes gives the soup a tangy flavour.
