Rasam Powder Recipe



How to make Rasam Powder at Home ? 


Today I am going to share a special recipe of  Rasam Powder. This Rasam Powder only takes few mins. & gives best taste to the plate. 

You don't need to copy any tough recipe of  Rasam Powder because the recipe which I am going to share is very easy.

Make and store fresh Rasam Powder at home for a long time and stay away from adulteration.

*Servings: 1 cup

(This recipe will serve 1 cup. You can multiply the mesurements as per your requirement.)

So let's start, 

■ Ingredients:-----



 • Coriander seeds:    ¾ cup

 • Red chilli long variety:   Around 20 

 • Toor dal:    ¼ cup

 • Chana dal:   ¼ cup

 • Black pepper:   3 tablespoon

 • Cumin seeds:   3 tablespoon

 • Hing:   ½ teaspoon


☆ Instructions (steps by step with photo):

1) Dry roast red chilli,hing (if solid. Refer notes), channa dal and toor dal first until dals are golden in colour. 

Roast in medium flame with constant frying. Transfer to a plate for cooling and then roast coriander seeds and pepper until fragrant.



2) Once the coriander seeds is roasted well, it lends a great flavour. Now add jeera lastly. Fry until it starts popping. Cool everything completely.



3) Powder it to a fine powder in a mixer and store in an airtight container.



Yeeeeeep ! The Rasam Powder is ready to eat. Simple and easy with best Indian style...
