How to make shahi paneer at Home?



Today I am going to share a secret recipe to make delicious and tasty shahi paneer at home which will always make you win your feeder's heart...

You  don't need to copy restaurant style shahi paneer because the recipe which I am going to share is more tasty, trust me...

So let's start, 

Ingredient required are mentioned below:

Paneer (Indian cottage cheese, not too soft not too hard)-300gm

Onion-1

Tomato-3

Green chilli-3

Ginger-2 inch

Garlic cloves-12

Cashew-15

Almonds-10

Bay leaves-2

Black cardamom-1

Turmeric Owder-1/3 tsp

Red chilli powder-1/3 tsp

Cumin powder-1/2 tsp

Coriender powder-1/2 tsp

Black pepper powder-1/4 tsp

Garam masala powder-1/3 tsp

Kasturi methi-1/2 tsp

Cumin seeds-1/3 tsp

Cinnamon-1/2 inch

Green cardamom-1

Butter-1 tsp

Cooking Oil-3 tsp

Ghee

Cream-2 tsp


Step-by-Step preparation of shahi paneer:

(1) Take paneer and fry it lightly in 1 tsp Ghee and set aside to a bowl. It's optional.

(2) For making shahi paste, onions and nuts are to be blanched well and then sauteed in ghee. Now take a kadhai, start heating it and add 1 tsp of ghee.

Add green cardamom, cashews, almonds, and fry till they turn slightly golden.

(3) Add onions, green chilli, tomato and fry till translucent. After sauteed, take it aside in a bowl and let it get cool.

(4) Take it in a mixer jar with little water and make a smooth paste.

(5) For shahi paneer, heat the same pan or kadhai with rest of ghee or oil. I prefer oil and ghee mix. It's optional. Add bay leaves and cumin seeds. Then add ginger, garlic paste till the raw smell disappears. Now add black cardmom, kasturi methi, gram masala powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder and salt. Fry for 3 to 4 minutes. 

(6) Now add sauteed and blended onion, green chilli paste or gravy to it and heat it well for 5 minutes. Then add shahi paste (cashew, almonds, green cardmom paste) into it and heat it till it get thick, add required amount of water to it. If needed optional. 

(7)  Add butter and sauteed paneer to the final gravy and cook it for 5 to 7 minutes. Garnish it with cream and 

Serve it !
